Was up at the range yesterday and ran into my buddy and for once happened to have my camera with me.
Anyways, here's a few pics of his new custom BR setup.
I don't know all the details but it started out as a XP-100. Yup, this beast was a pistol at one time!

XP's are fine actions for sure. The fact that they are forever considered a pistol and can never be made "non-Restricted" is utterly pedantic and a shame.

Back in the day, I made up quite a few BR rifles on XP100 actions and had them de-restricted by applying to do so. Perhaps things have changed. Regards, Bill.

Yes, the CFC has the policy now that "Once a pistol, always a pistol". These cannot be de-restricted. It's why I have built on XR100 action instead of XP100's
