I want one of these things. Would make a nice emergency/compact truck gun. How well does yours fold with the optic on it OP? Is it something that you quick detach or does the mount fold to the side when not in use so you can fold your carbine up properly?
I have a similar setup for mine (cheaper version of holosun QD red dot). I don't have the angled foregrip, instead I have an adjustable foregrip can go from flat 0, to 30, 60 and finally 90 degrees (vertical).
That grip is pushed up further so I can remove my scope and attach it to the bottom rail closer to the trigger guard for safe transport. I will try to put a picture up later today.
