Good day,
Following your recommendation,
I bought another rifle as a spare.
If you don't know what happened; my Zeiss Conquest let me down the 2nd hunting day,
leave me breathless and speechless
One of your recommendation was to get a spare scope.
I did better; A Spare rifle/scope.
My Main rifle is a Savage Axis Youth 243, I LOVE this rifle.
So, I bought another one, and put a Nikon Buckmaster on it.
I ordered a Camo Dipping kit in Muddy Girl,
and: Voila !
What do you think of the final result ?

Nice choice in rifle/cartridge as well. :)
A .243 in a small rifle packs well for me as well on our island.
 
Always nice to have a back up just in case.

As for the camo job, nicely done. Hope it works well for you.

Awww I gotta reply to this.
Eclipse71 has had scope problems and for a lady hunter has shown
real class through the whole ordeal.
A hunter wearing gal parts is great.
The idea of buying a back up rifle is fabulous.
The camo project looks perfect.
And she dresses up to compliment her portfolio.
If one is asking to see photos, why not go for the gusto?
I was hoping for a compromise and see her with a downed
animal............tizz all folks, git yer mid out of the gutter..........:wave:
 
I think you did a real great job. I'm not into pink guns, but it does look pretty cool. Didn't know such a thing existed.

I have my first child on the way this Spring coming up, a little girl. Gotta get myself thinking about what her first rifle will be. Wonder if it will be pink too, or a classic lever after her Dad's heart.

Good luck with it, always nice to have a back up. Hope it doesn't let you down!
