I'm having a bit of trouble finding 5 rounds mags in Canada, but other than that it's a good rifle.

I was wondering about the extractor function, but I have seen another rifle and I see that the cases basically drop beside the rifle. I was used to a 10/22 where they fly out quite a ways. The odd empty case was spinning in the chamber then Fail to eject. I think I just need to work on the perfect amount of speed and force of sending the bolt back.

I've got a 455 American..... After my second trip to the range, after firing a few dozen rounds it started not consistently extracting the spent shells from the chamber, and I'd literally have to 'pick them out'.

I took it back to the dealer. He fired a few rounds through it, couldn't repeat the failure to extract problem, but said he'd found another problem-- that it wasn't ejecting properly (I was wondering about it myself--the ejection seemed a little 'anemic'). Evidently the shells should practically 'leap' out of the chamber without using any great force.

Anyway, it's been sent back for warranty...Damn shame, because it's a lot of fun to shoot when it's working properly....I just hope I didn't get a lemon.

hey that's so good you mentioned that, because that's totally what mine is doing. I am going to send mine in too before the warranty runs out. It's still awesome, but it totally could be better in that regard

thank you for posting your experience

I haven't seen that yet on my 455LUX. I will keep an eye on that. I did find a few rounds wouldn't feed well in the very cold weather.
