I have posted in our blog some of the pictures of mine of George Digweed. Some have been in Clayshooting (UK), ClayshootingUSA and other publications.

He is something to watch when he shoots all 8 machines of a Make-A-Break from the hip and his 110 yards from the machine, teal kills! He is even better on live birds!

As is a ton of talent and sponsor-paid equipment, ammo and practice !

George was a "machine" even back in the early 90's at Okemo Mountain, shooting a pair of Brownings and AA's.

Where you there at Okimo? It was a revaltion for me! I finaly hit a battue on the fourth day when my Aussie squad mate told me: a car in front and a car underneath! I asked him what size cars did they have in Aussie land, Jap 12 foot ones or NA 25 foot ones?

George does not get paid by his sponsors. They cover gun work (1 year wait for a set of IC barrels), ammo, expenses to go to major events such as the Orvis Cup or The Great Eastern but not many of the World shoots. They give him custom shooting gear.

He makes his money with his hunts that run from September through Feb 1. If I remember what Kate said, it is somewhere around 100K birds: ducks, partridge and pheasants. BTW In England, you DON'T get to keep the shot game, it goes to the local butcher. If you want a brace of partridge, you pay extra for it!

This isnt true, you will always be offered a brace of birds at the end of the shoot, this is done so you can give the gamekeeper his tip!.

I have shot with him many years ago when he was practising at Southdown gun club (uk), he is a nice chap and some of the stuff he can do is simply incredible.

As a side note, his brother is also a world class dance DJ so excellence runs in the family
