I bought a pair of Pietta 1873 clones and am trying to find replacement grips for them I’m looking for one piece wooden grips preferably in walnut stain. Ive found several places in Canada that were sold out and don’t know when they will have stock again but if anyone knows a dealer with inventory still id appreciate it

NC Ordnance has Pietta grips. They are in the US in North Carolina but ship to Canada:

I've ordered & received grips from them before for a Colt Model 1903 pocket hammerless & an old model Ruger Vaquero.

I'm also looking for some Pietta grips and have been eyeballing these guys. Were you happy with the grips...fit and finish?

I didn't have good luck with NC Ordinance for my Pietta 1873 western 2. The panels were too small and the frame showed all around and was sharp.

The Colt 1903 grips I received are very nice.

The grips for the old model Vaquero were imitation "barked stag like". Was not so much impressed with them. Fit was ok but just looked 'cheap' when installed:

Also got a set of the imitation ivory for the old Vaquero which I prefer to the barked stag. But ended up going back to the factory grips anyway...lol...

Could try Texas Grips. ht tps://texasgrips.com

I got a pair of the extended in maple for my 1875 clone and they were extremely well made and look amazing. Feels so much better in the hand, as well. I think the "model P" ones will work for Pietta 1873 clones. Pricey, but worth it, IMHO. 2 piece with cross screw, though.
