Has anyone ever tried the Pietta PPS-50? If so, what's your thoughts.

I had my hands on a used one with the synthetic stock, the stock made it feel and look real cheap. The wildcat tactical stock looks really cool with it. Im wondering if it would be be a good combo together.

I love mine. I just just painted my stock with the rubber rocker gaurd. Feels much better now. I also too the ####ty sites off it and put on a red dot. Whole new gun now

I have one and I like it but it's not really my cup of tea. The black stock kills it for me.
Supposed to use hv ammo but mine cycles best with cci sv and is surprisingly accurate with a cheap 4x Simmons scope.
I'm actually thinking of flipping mine.

I like mine as well. I've had it for over a year and no complaints. As far as I can tell, it has no preference to ammo and cycles well with both bulk or better quality stuff. The synthetic stock feels and looks cheap but it does the job. I took the factory sights off and replaced them with a cheap red dot. I think for esthetics though, I will search around for a small 4x scope that fits more with the style of the gun. All in all, its a pretty good little gun for the price. I'm considering getting another one as a project.

Just Picked one up, ran 60 rounds quick (was getting a bit dark) fired Stingers flawlessly with the 30rd mag. I really like the feel and look(wood stock) of the PPS-50. Its my first Pietta.
The open sights work really well, can't see any point to adding optics, 50 yards I shot well with the factory sights and will kill many a gopher this spring. its not a cheap 22 and has the feel of a well made firearm. Ordered from Frontier Firearms yesterday and was a post office today! Thanks Frontier:rockOn:
