Funny the two No4 bayonets I have I never quite see anywhere.
One is the spike with the four edges, and the other has the flat blade where the handle reverses a 180 degrees flip to mount on the rifle. The second one reminds me a bit of an FN bayonet when in normal configuration.

Any help or explanation would be great.

lawn gnome, you are a lucky man. Both are rare versions of Lee Enfield bayonets, compared to the other very common types. good for you!

Israeli 98k Mauser bayonet/German to Israeli standards
98k German 1939 with 1938 scabbard
Japanese WW2 bayonet and scabbard
No.7 Mk1 Bayonet fits No.4 rifle and Mk5 Stengun
No.9 Lee Enfield bayonet and scabbard

Thanks Lou, I knew they were odd compared to the ones I always see, like the spike pigsticker and the flat blade-only version, never knew rare too.

any partucular reason you chose to post the same picture 4 time over? (cote b)

Which one? Those are the best pictures of those rifles I have and they were already on photobucket so it saved me form uploading others. Where else did I post those two anway? Maybe in threads from 6 moths ago.
