pin/plug type mag capacity limiter

How does the pin/plug style limiter (not frankenpinning) effect the value of a non refurb SKS? all numbers still intact, just a visible pin in bottom. Thanks for your help guys..

I think it affected not much , because the stamped serial number is still visible.
Sure it's not like the new Westrifle import or the izh impex 2008 but a lot much better than the franken pinned.

Kinda what I was thinking. But what to do, hold out for a non rivet 51 or take an otherwise nice 51. does Riveting change the overall collectable factor? Any thoughts?

We did it because many of you requested it to save the originality of sks.

in my opinion, using the riveted style as a baseline, add 10% for pinned on the follower, and take off 10% for frankenpinned.

If they are same overall condition and price,i would go for a non riveted plug whenever possible.
