Hey all, I know this is a controversial subject, and people are saying not to pin them and to just wait, but I figure I can just remove the pins later if need be and would rather not get a charge if I am found in possession.

Anyway, I'm looking for the location where I should put a pin, does anyone know the spot? Or does anyone have a pictures of a see-through mag with 10 and 11 rounds in it so I can figure out the spot myself? Or a picture of a magazine already pinned?

Thanks

It should be easy enough to load ten, then drill and install a small rivet.

Presuming you are approved to work on prohibited items....Do I hear sirens?

Just an interesting note to this topic... I was talking to my buddy who is an RCMP Firearms officer and fellow gun nut. He told me that since this whole thing came out, he has not received one official note, memo, letter, or email telling him the Butler creek mags are now prohibited.

Right because tbe rcmp don't make laws they enforce them and there is no restriction on rimfire rifle magazine capacities.

Definitely. But my magazines are black, so I need to know where to drill.

Here's a good photo with a pinned mag. Hope it helps. Courtesy of Spectre Ballistics.

Butler creek 25ers can be pinned for 10 if you put the rivet in the horses rear end. Sounds weird but it just happens to be the right place
