Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know where I can see some pictures or a video of how to pin glock mags? I've read on CGN of people using rivets but I can't find any small enough. Also do you need to file down the outside of the rivet to allow it to enter the mag well?

Thanks,

I had to drill out one of the holes in the back of the mag to make it a bit bigger. Then just use a pop rivet. I did have to file down the rivet just a tiny bit to make it drop free from the gun. I'll check on the size of the drill bit and rivet and get back to you.

What I did to mine was just get a couple of small pieces of wood or delrin or aluminum and shaved them down thin enough and long enough to fit in between the spring and only allow 10 1/3 rounds. That's just as "permanent" as pinning.

To pin G17 mags to 10rds, you will need 1/16" rivets and you will need to open up the 14th hole with a 1/16"drill bit.
