Hello looking to know more about it and what’s it worth?

One of the untold thousands of shotguns made in Belgium for export, usually retailed by mail order. Piper was an established company that made quite a variety of guns. It is interesting in that it looks to have been made with the laminated steel barrels set into a monoblock.
Value is going to be nominal, higher if the action is tight and the bores are smooth and shiny. Might or might not be a shooter.

There will be proof marks on the bottom of the barrels, and on the receiver flat. Might be proved for black or smokeless.

Jeebus, but you will likely find WAY better info online, if you can actually READ and COPY the name that is so plainly writ on the gun! PIEPER, fer cristsakes!

I own a modified diana grade sxs. Mine is Damascus. And shoots fine...bore cond is a big thing...rust...pits? Dents...
Also if gun has play when closed or snug.
The breaches are not same metal as the barrels..the laminated barrels are joined to the monoblock...if there is excessive erosion between the chambers and bores...id not shoot it. The chambers on these guns are 2.5" BLACK POWDER PROOFED ONLY no modern ammo...VALUE VARIES GREATLY IN REGARDS TO BARRELS BEING SAFE. If yoy intend shooting it. 2.5 " rolled crimp black powder loads only and use of fiber wads not midern plastic wads. Black powder and plastic do not go hand and hand... The guns can be used with proper ammunition and proper cleaning afterwards is a must ad black powder is very corrosive and any form of pattern welded barrels
Are weakened by pitting...thus it needs a thorough examination before you shoot...value could be. From a 100$ wallhanger to a 800$ shooter.. Prices vary.

Oh good to know. When I’m back I’ll have time to take it apart and look. Is there an easy take down process?
