I have the current issue Canadian Forces manuals for this pistol BUT I would like to obtain older edition manuals. I would like the original manuals but quality photocopies or even PDF files are acceptable. Can anyone help be locate these manuals?

The CF manual hasn't changed since W.W. II, as far as I know. Same pistol.
Go here, download the BHP 9mm .pdf. It's from FN. Note the need for the provided UN & PW. Add the W's.

Original manuals for the 9mm pistol seem to be as rare as hen's teeth! I got my reprints from Collector's source as I recall, but I just checked their website and discovered they no longer list them.

However ... BDL Ltd. - the well-known South Carolina dealer in all things to do with British and Commonwealth military firearms - carries many reprint military manuals, including the following:

- Small Arms Training, (Canadian Supplement), for the Pistol, Automatic, Browning, FN, 9mm HP, 1945, (reprint), 37 pages, $6.00

- Canadian Army Manual of Training, Browning Automatic Pistol, 1953, (reprint), 36 pages, $6.00

- Infantry Training, Vol. I, 9mm Browning Self Loading Pistol, 1958, (reprint), 35 pages, $6.00 (British)

- User Handbook for the Pistol, Automatic, 9mm., FN, Browning, HP, No.2, Mk1*, 1958, (reprint), 37 pages, $6.00 (British)

The 1945 Canadian small arms training manual and the 1958 British "user's manual" are the ones I have - here's an image from the BDL site of the Canadian one (click thumbnail to enlarge) -

The interior pages appear to be from photocopies, so the quality of some of the images, particularly photographs, leaves a bit to be desired (... mind you, one never knows how much of that is attributable to the often poor quality of the original "war-production" publication ...) but it is certainly all fully legible and quite useable - In my experience, such reprints are the best you're going to find, at least without spending $100 or so for a scarce original.
