i was checking the South Frontenac Rental Centre Wolf ammo for sale.
what's TMJ?
they also have lead RN ammo. Which one is good to shoot from one of those 99$ Norinco M213 (TT-33 replica in 9mm)

TMJ = Total Metal Jacket.

I think basically the entire bullet is enclosed in a metal jacket, as opposed to a FMJ where the base of the bullet is not.

Total metal jackets help limit exposure to lead.

I ran a box of the TMJ's thru my $99 Norinco M213 without any problems. I haven't tried Lead RN or FMJ in it yet.

I ordered some TMJ for my M&P from Wolf. I picked the TMJ since a previous thread mentioned that some folks thought the lead RN rounds smoked pretty bad due to the lube he uses, and the TMJ were slightly cheaper than the FMJ. 1st 50 worked great; can't wait to get back to the range!

TMJ's and CMJ's are names for the same thing from different manufacturers. The lead is completely enclosed in copper on both. Supposedly keeps lead out of the air on indoor ranges.
