I was wondering if this is a thing people do. I was wanting to buy a pistol stripped frame and then buy parts and build it. I was thinking a 1911 or something else who knows. There are absolutely tons of 1911 parts out there though. What are the thoughts on this and where would i find a cheap frame? Not an 80% one i want a fully milled out registered ready to go one. used or new doesnt matter. What should i do?

I called Marstar and solved my own problem. Ordered a NZ-75 or 85 frame and a full size norinco 1911 frame for $50 each. I already have tracked down enough parts to make the 1911 work but the CZ is going to be the winter project. hopefully the gods smile on me and i dont have too much of an issue finding what i need. but if i do then its all for the hunt. a winter time (and money) waster
