Pistol for my wife

I may second the XD9... I have a Glock 17 and find the grip a bit of a handful.
If she liked the XD45... ;)
I have also found the recoil of the XD45 much nicer than any 1911 (thus the lack of a .45 in my safe). I will own one, one of these some day (XD that is).
My wife doesn't like any of my 9's, love's her .22.
I'll go with nelly and say let her try as many as she can.

We are going to a gun show this weekend to see what fits in her hand best. Right now the Rugers are looking good. She can handle the 45ACP but when she starts into CDPA I don't know if she will be able to strong/weak hand that round. Know doubt if the gun fits she should have no problem.But shooting that handgun puts a smile on her face that none of our rifles do....Bob
 
Well we tried out several pistols and the Ruger P89 was her choice for fit and price.(If its not cheap or on sale she won't take it, but she lets me spend what i want)Had her out at the range today and out of 10 shots at 10 yards seven are usually in a 6-7 inch group. So for those of you who wonder what your suppose to get for your 28th anniversary its Steel and Lace....Bob
