anyone know if and where you can get a pistol grip stock for a mossburg 930 jmpro similar to to mossburg spx model i`am not sure but i think choate makes some but i don`t know if they are availiable in canada or not thanks

Choate has one as it has to accomodate the recoil spring tube.

They are hard to get though.

I think midway usa can import one for you, I haven't checked with them in a long time since I decided to keep the standard stock on my 930.

Nothing is as useless as a shotgun with just a pistol grip and no stock. Except for a rifle with no stock. A pistol gripped stock, like the factory one on the SPX, isn't the same thing.
Net search Mossberg, not Mossburg.
The Choate Mk V runs about $70, Stateside. Shotgun stuff is controlled by the U.S. Commerce Dept. and isn't usually subject to their daft ITAR rules. These guys will be able to tell you for sure if that stock can be exported. Add the W's.

Try Epp's or any Choate dealer here first.
Midway USA exports nothing.

I found a shotgun with just a pistol grip easier to carry and it always seemed to do an excellent job at breaching doors when called upon. Never an issue. Useless...not quite

If this is the one you want (Choate 12G pistol grip stock), I just ordered one from Brownell's for $70 US. Hopefully it gets shipped... I think the 930 takes the same stock as 500/590 but don't quote me on that. This is a 930, by the way.

No , the 930/935 is a different stock than the 500 series.

Here's their site and the Model # (take the spaces out):

Description
This Mark 5 pistol grip stock fits the Mossberg 930 and 935 semi auto shotgun it reduces felt recoil and muzzle climb to make follow-up shots faster and more accurate. Single-handed firing is also made much easier. The stock is made of tough fiberglass filled plastic and comes with a soft 1" rubber recoil pad and a quick detach swivel stud. The MK5 pistol grip stock features our spacer system which comes with one 3/4 spacer included. You can lengthen your stock by simply adding new spacers and longer screws. NOTE- The 930/935 shotguns can not be shortened shorter than 13 3/4 inches because of the recoil spring tube that protrudes form the back of the receiver.

Assuming this is the one you want:

The only issue with a Mossie and a pistol grip stock is the safety becomes harder to reach. The 930 has a recoil spring tube that runs back into the stock, the guys at Mesa have been trying to figure out how to keep the length of pull down without compromising reliability. I believe the Choate has quite a long LOP (many Mesa customers are entry team guys who wear armour, long LOP is a nightmare with full kit)

I'm surprised someone else was looking for OEM stocks for these, How did you make out?. The first time I saw this shotgun I just about passed out it just looks so badass. So of course they are rarer than hens teeth up here (SPX) so I thought I'd try to source out parts, buy the 930 combo and make one. I found 2 places where you can get extention mags but the stocks were a no-go...not to mention outfitting sights= more hassle than it's worth. Anyway I've read they can be finicky but I still want one, they look like the FN's. If Wholesale sports can get the SA-20 tactical why not these?.

If it's the same as the 500/590 model, the LOP is approx 13.5" with no spacers to 14.5" (14.5" is OEM). I really like my Choate on my 14" 590A1. Had the 12" LOP Hogue and I was too cramped when shooting. I know some of the 930 models come with the Choate stock from the factory.

Not a bad looking stock. The nice thing is that Choate makes a quality product.
