Ebay maybe? Leupold, burris and tasco made them, Im sure others did as well. Theyre great for showing you how much your hands shake. - dan

I saw the one on Amazon, however I am not looking for a silver coloured scope.
I am looking for a scope for my last handgun purchase, which should be approved by next week, an Anschutz Exemplar bolt action pistol in 22lr.
A silver finished scope would be out of place.
I will be checking out the gun auctions, sometimes they show up there.
In the meantime I verified with all Canadian dealers, nothing nada.

I just put a couple of Vortex scout scopes on my Contender pistols. So far I have 40 shots fired on my 30-30. I was reading on the internet about people mounting them on pistols so figured I would try it. If they hold up I will be on the 30-30 I’ll be buy a couple more. Pistol scopes aren’t the easiest to find so no one stocks them due to low sales volume. I bought a silver scope Bushnell Elite a couple of years ago and it doesn’t bother me being on a blued pistol. The one that surprised me was a 2x Simmons which I figured I would destroy. It survived over 400 rounds on my 454 Casull and over 1000 on my 44 Rem Mag. Tougher than I thought it would be.
Yes, the Vortex scout scope is my plan B.
The difference between pistol scopes and scout scopes is the eye relief, being 20" on a pistol scope and 9" on a scout scope.
I have a weaver scope on my contender super 14 in 30-30 since 30 years already and it works great. On my Ruger SRH I have a Bushnell elite 2-6x32, and It is great as well, since at least 15 years.
I am looking for something similar, but there is absolutely nothing on the market, it seems.
