Pistol Outlines/Profiles - Help with a project

Hey All,

I need help with a project I'm working on. I am making a case for my friend to store and transport his pistols. The case is going to be a gift, so I don't have access to his guns for "tracing" purposes.

I plan to buy a Pelican case. I have the foam, and I have access to a CNC router at work. The tech will draw and cut any shapes I give him. So this is where we run into the problem.

I'm looking for a place to find outlines of specific models of pistol, and magazines to scale. I want to be able to use them to decide on my preferred layout before cutting. Does anyone know where these profiles/outlines can be found?

This should be a relatively easy job ..... if you have a photo editor program.
1) Save a picture of each gun from the manufacturers website.
2) Resample the saved pictures changing the size of the gun based on the manufacturers specs (over all length or height) and save the revised picture.
3) Print out the revised pictures and you have the exact outline you need.

How would you resize a picture so that it is the exact size of the original when printed?
 
one other thing to add.... make the sight boxes generous so it will fit aftermarket sights, like a fiber optic front and/or a bigger/taller rear sight.....

mot much bigger.... just a couple mils in height and width.
