Pistol Primers?

Going thru my primer inventory and I seem to have accumulated a bunch of pistol primers.
Can the small pistol primers and small magnum primers be used in the same case?

Same question with the large pistol primers.

Small pistol, small pistol magnum and small rifle primers can all be used interchangeably in the same cases.

I once ran a test in 357mag (rifle & pistol), same charge and bullet, standard and magnum primers
the mags produced lower velocities.

FYI...You probably already know this but some powders/recipes will require magnum primers.

i use standard or magnum Federal SP interchangably in our light .38 Cowboy ammo, if i were loading to a max pressure for any particular cartridge i would not do that without starting low with magnums.
