Thinking seriously about purchasing another pistol in .45acp. I love the 1911 and was mulling over a Colt series 70 or another Norinco. But then I kinda thought...maybe it may be a better idea to have at least one revolver.

So the question is...anyone no of a good .45acp pistol?

S&W 625 is the only common revolver I know of that will shoot .45 ACP - very nice guns but not cheap! There are also some converted old Webleys, but they are more rare.

There is the Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in .45Colt/.45ACP. This is a single action revolver but no moon clips which is a good thing. And about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of the 625 assuming you could buy one. You could not shoot full load .45ACP in a Webley, and best not to shoot jacketed bullets in a Webley plus the .455 Webley is a little hard to come by.
