Guy handed me a slip of paper at the coffee shop this morning. Wants to know what they are worth. He says they are "in the grease" from when he bought them, I have not seen them. I don't know anything about them so any info appreciated.

1) CESKA ZBROJOVKA- NARODNI PODNIK STRKONICE
Pistole model 24 7.65 Kalibar

2) Pistole Model 27 Kalibar 7.65
BOHMICHE WAFFENFABRIK
A.G in PRAG.

Both made in CZecholovakia.

Both are prohibs, of course. Both are 1927 pattern pistols, the second is wartime made during German occupation, the first one is post war, Narodni Podnik = Workers Cooperative. Possibly worth $150 each.

The wartime pistol, being German issue, may have some collectors' appeal. A lot were made, though. Possibly the greatest actor affecting value is the prohib. status. These are well made, perfectly servicable pistols.

These are neat guns, especially the Model 24, but as tiriaq says, not real valuable. I agree with about $150 each - maybe down to $100 unless really nice. I am always interested in this type of prohib, of course (mainly because I can...) so if they come up for sale, pics to armco@telus.net ??
