Pistols compatible with .40cal

Pistolas in .40 S&W I'm fond of:

Glock 22 & Glock 23
BHP MkIII
Colt Delta 10mm, also fitted with .40 S&W barrel

---------
NAA.

I have a metal frame SAM 1911 in .40 S&W that is accurate, fun and easy to shoot. One small problem is that it does not like most factory ammo other then Speer and my hand loads. Likely the cartidge length since I load to 1.125 OAL per the loading books.
The other problem is running out of ammunition at the range, per the great fun to shoot part.

I picked up a G22 & G35. I’m in Ontario so god knows when I’ll ever see them. But I look forward to reloading them with different weight of ammo and adjusting the powder.

I have 5 in $0 and wont go back.

2 CZ TS
1 S&W M&P
1 STI Edge
1 Bul Radical 5.4

All shoot well and the recoil is very much nicer then 9 with handloads. But I also shoot +5000 rounds of it a year so I am used to it as well.

I’m late to the game here but I think my favourite .40 pistol was an S&W M&P40, although I’m pretty satisfied with my current .40s—an H&K USP and Walther P99.

I know this is the pistol forum , but with the current situation , if you do decide to keep the ammo , maybe look for a carbine in .40 , never hurts to diversified your ammo options .

TNW ASR is available in 10mm which 'should' be compatible with .40S&W. It is also available in .40S&W.
