Place to clean your guns?

If you use Simple Green or any other citrus based cleaner be sure to NOT let the parts soak overnight and rinse well. SG IS CORROSIVE! ! ! ! It's fine for a clean then rinse. But leave parts soaking in it overnight and it'll actually do a light etching on the surface of the metal. And it's worse when you mix it up fairly "rich" so that it's more effective. It might be safe for hands but that's only because our hands are not made from aluminium or steel.

So what ur all saying is my 5 year old shouldn't be cleaning my guns with ed red like I own stock in it?

Is my kid gonna be reeetarded?

I just clean mine in my kitchen sink. My apartment don't smell like gun lube,

Between 3 cats, Sig smoke and well the endless bottles of the wife perfume and smelly ####, I don't smell nothing,

funny thing, my wife just SUDDENLY exploded about my gun stuff... didn't see it coming to be
honest. :/

I got a news flash for ya. It wasn't you cleaning your guns. It was the re-runs of that brain sucking McGruber movie.... I watched it once, laughed a lot. But my IQ didn't recover for a MONTH! ! ! ! ! :D

My first bottle of Hoppes 9 was the new formula.... Not bad. Then I was given a liter of the original Hoppes 9.... Wow, I keep a good draft going now in my basement.

Maybe your range will let you clean after shooting?
