I have been thinking of building my own. I have seen a barrel and sight unit at Armco, but that's pretty much it. Where should I look? How much should I expect to pay?
Most gunsmiths order them direct from the manufacturer, have you worked on revolvers before, it's fairly specialized stuff, cutting the forcing cone etc. Definitely out of my depth, and I'll strip a 1911 down to bits for something to do.
