Places to go shooting in Southern Ontario?

Hey I'm just posting this to see if anyone knows any places to go shooting in GTA area, I'm even willing to drive a bit. I got my PAL and was trying to get out and shoot my shotguns and rifle. I am from North-Western Ontario so my knowledge of where to shoot here is very low.

Use the link to the crown land atlas on this web page to see if theres some crown land reasonably close to you. There is some info on how to use it on the page, and some tutorials on YouTube. Good luck!

Anyone who has a place to shoot is unlikely to post it on a public gun forum. Several years ago a shooting spot near Port Perry was overrun by irresponsible shooters after news of it was posted online and subsequently shutdown due to safety concerns. I'd suggest you look at various clubs in the area and be prepared to drive at least a couple of hours.

I have been researching this as well (crown land) but with all of southern Ontario being very populated makes it difficult and figure someone will hear shots and call the police.
I went the club route which is convenient, but limitations on what ammo can be used with shotgun. Will probably do a camping trip up Sudbury way and go down some logging roads. Seems to be lots of general use crown land up there and far away from anyone.
