All Plainfields can use milsurp parts. It was an exact copy. They're the best of the aftermarket carbines. They were made between 1960 and 1977 under the Plainfield Machine Co. name. Iver Johnson bought them out and made them until about 1993 when IJ closed.
I've had mine for 30 some years and have never had any problems a bath didn't fix. Never seen a serial number list though.
