Plastic 10/22 (pix added)

Im buying a CZ anyways, allready got a couple 10/22s... those CZs are ###y little rifles.

Booo!!!. Good thing I already bought one a long time ago. Plastic, plastic everywhere. I'll take steel anyday thank you very much.
Yeah they're pretty cool, I hated the furniture and paint though.
I would like one with real wood, and a blued finish, instead of that craptacular Grey paint.
Its nice that it takes alloy mags though, they are quite light and durable.

Ok, let me tell you what I found surfing the net:
1. Ruger didn't quite make any pre-anouncement to that,
somebody on another forum said that
they (rugar) push them thru the dack door
like a $2 whore (true),
2. As of today, they didn't say SFA about the plastic used.
I don't know much about plastics, but I would have like to know if it's a
high impact plastic, Glock grade, or just recycled packaging (melted pop bottles ), or what,
3. Nobody knows when, how much, by who, or if this thing was tested.
4. Nobody knows yet if the insides are unmodified and fully
interchangeable with the old ones. You can see the new trigger itself
made of plastic, but does it have more plastic parts inside? huh?
5. Nobody knows if Ruger will continue to supply alum alloy TG housings
as spare parts on demand, or if they will continue to supply them
to houses like Brownell's, Hornet, etc.
Not too much communication skill from Ruger, and if I try to remember,
the (now deceased) old man Ruger stuck it up his customers' ass
when he went to bed with the antis, but let's not open graves now.
Still from the net, the worried can't find answer to these questions,
some people say this is the first sure sign of Armagedon,
while the others say don't worry, Ruger made about 5 million 10/22's,
and if you feel that you lose your manhood by using plastic TG's,
then go and buy an old (alum) TG,
because there are plenty around.
