Curious if anyone has tried PlastiDip camo on wooden gun stocks?
Im sure it will work fine on the finished surface es, but what about the raw wood in the checkering and inside? Will it still peel off if I want to go back to original? I have a pretty nice stock that I want to cam up but want the option of reversing it later if I change my mind!

If the stock is still sealed with varnish and doesn't have any raw wood grain where it could soak into...should be fine.
Any chance you have an old stock you could experiment on first?

I am not worried one bit about the sealed portions of the stock, it’s where the checkering is that concerns me.

I was also talking about the PlastiDip in the checkering.
If it is sealed, come time to peel it off should not be a problem.
As in, it will not bond to varnish.

Well you could seal the checkering and the inside/action/barrel channel of the stock and then you are sure it will peal off!

Camo tape?

Forgot about that stuff. Have a bunch of rolls.
