Playing in Photoshop SR 1911 Grips

Hey, since I'm considering buying a SR1911 I was shopping around for grips and found that I wanted to see what they looked like on the gun so started playing around with Photoshop with images from VZ Grips to see what I like.

If anyone else is in the market for SR1911 grips I can prob take a few requests.

Disclaimer: I am in no way an artist and am just throwing these together to see roughly what they look like.

The last 2 are the nicest looking IMO... I like the wood on the stainless SR... but I also like black on silver. Works with the black parts on the gun. You should try a darker set.
 
I think 1 and 2 would look far better on a black gun for sure. 4 can go either way. But for me, on a stainless 1911, hard to beat red(-ish) grips so #3 gets my vote though I would personally go for something with more texture (I need function with my fashion :D).

This too... black grips on silver.

Tried do go mostly darker this time. I'm surprised how much I like the plain black slant pattern.

I believe the grips with the magwell hes talking about are the FAB grips. You can get them from Zahal (among other places). They are great. The grips themselves are nothing special, but the magwell is clean and integrated and works amazing.

Pic of them on my Norc, they now reside on my SR:
