I have read this and just need some solid confirmation that H4831 SC (short cut) will use the same data as the traditional H4831, Just a refined powder and easier to meter?
It is always prudent, especially when working with max loads, to work up a load based on each lot number. Canister grade powders do very well at remaining consistant over years and lots, but they are not perfect.
According to Hodgson the burn rate is the same ... but according to Sierra's
lab, the SC burns slightly quicker and at a somewhat higher pressure than the regular H4831.

Burn rate is supposed to be the same according to the info and I have never seen different results on the performance of my loads.
