PLEASE DELETE ANSWERS FOUND Tavor Questions

I just picked up a Tavor, and have a couple questions.
Seeing as you are the prime importers, I felt you'd likely be the experts.

1. Other than the small factory booklet that comes with it (which has few pictures), is there a source of filed stripping information, literature?

2. What is the purpose of the "thing" on the top of the receiver just behind the Mepro. Looks like a metal "button" that you could wrap something around, and just in front look like molded plastic cleats (like you might use to secure a line on a boat)

1. Google OR check the Tavor sticky in the black rifles forum
2. I believe that is a proprietary mounting system for some sighting accessories, like a magnifier and illumination (night vision).
