I've heard that the Dominion Arms can be quite decent. No personal experience though.

Don't fall for the "shorter is better" thing......they just end up getting lost under the cushions.

The DA Outlaw is not a quality gun. It's cheap and can be made to work but that's about it. On top of that it's ascetically unbalanced and a bit too short in my eyes.

I guess you need to decide if you want exposed hammers or not and also what kind of ejector.

CZ and Stoeger both make short doubles.

I use a Iver Johnson with 20" barrels and it works great. The DA Outlaw is very short- more of a love seat shotgun.

Stoeger would be your best bet. Decent price and decent quality. Get the double trigger version, I had friends who both had issues with the single trigger version.
I owned a double trigger version, ran it as a fun skeet gun, 5k through it, sold it, never had an issue with it.
Would buy another.
