Sold a Savage Axis, I didn't put the scope setup on it so I don't know what was used, look like Burris steel rings. I pulled the scope off and I'm looking to use same rings on a Remington 597 HB I picked up. Remington web site says it's drilled for Weaver style bases which come with rifle, so I'm assuming that's what's on there. Bases on Savage are 2 piece Weavers but I can't get them to fit on the Remington. Looks so close but no luck.
