The upper is all Colt 1:7 but the lower is an A2 Armalite which I will eventually replace. Any suggestions on a better lower?
As for all of the other parts - these have been things that I've collecting over a long period of time.
I hope these black rifles don't turn into a passion like my enfields...

I'd love to source a better trigger - I really don't like the rack armalite trigger. The armalite lower seems overly loose but it works great.

Armseast has some Stag rifles with the correct contour barrel, I'm sure Walter could fit a carbine stock for you and from a distance (and for feel) you'd be pretty close. The Elcans do show up, the thing I haven't seen around are the tri-rail set ups - where on earth did you find that Riflechair???

Majority of it looks good, but a C7A2 doesn't have that type of butt. We don't have a sling swivel on it.

Looks like a fairly good clone. If you used a commercial buffer tube you could get a green CAR style stock which would look more like the one actually used. CADEX grips are easily available but I've never been a big fan of them.

I like the look of It. You have to take a hard look to start to pick out any discrepancies. I was thinking of doing the same type of project...I only got as far as buying one of the new green Bayonet's ( which I think I over paid for ) and then gave up. so now my c7 / c8 project consists entirely of a eickhorn bayonet 2000.

That looks ####ing fantastic! Overseas or on ex we typically change out some of the issue stuff for our own like the front grip, sights(eotech) and maybe the US style butts. That looks really good.

Pretty sure it is an Elcan 3.4x. You can find them in the EE, and I think Questar has them new.
