Friday!

Wow - mother nature did not like us yesterday. Rain and cold that made manipulating guns and mags so very difficult.
Thanks very much to the fantastic officials and organizers who braved the weather to shoot us through. Thanks to my AWESOME Squad too. They were a great bunch to shoot with. Next time I come to Barrie; I'm bringingq a snorkel, just in case.

I expected to have a good time, and I did!
 
I was on Sean's squad and I think he's fibbing when he said the weather affected him, one day I hope to shoot as well in the best weather possible!
I gotta say after 10 hours of shooting in the rain with little cover what was left of the squads were a solid bunch of folks. Anyone who left early you avoided a long day in the pouring rain, hard to fault anyone for that.
The ROs and anyone else who helped out were amazing, never once heard them complain, great bunch of people.

Great shooting with you, we had a great squad.
I'll bring the mask and flippers next time.

It looked like a great match and the guys on the squad were great, I just wish I could have continued but after 3 stages it was evident I was not going to make it so there was no point making my condition worse. See you at the next one...

Heavy rain AND high winds... 'Good times....LoL :D

Oh... and don't forget low temperatures...

Just goes to show... God hates IPSC.
 
is it a real muddy range or lots of grass and/or gravelly ?
any ponds anywhere where boots would be required or just soggy ?
 
THANKS to the Barrie crew for giving us this great level 3 match !!! I had a blast!!
Stage 5 was my Favorite !!! :D:eek::eek:ovrecovrecovrec;)

Saw the production results....Congrats to Karl! (Karl....don't you know your supposed to get slower as you get older?!):p
 
Broke 90 with muzzle as coming around the big deck/table on stage 5, something like that...
oh well, first time since started ipsc in '95., Thats decent track record, I think...
Hopefully last time.. sucks on level 3 match..
 
would have been worse if it were the friday! toughing out the hurricane and then getting dq'd.
