Hello, I got my PAL and RPAL last year and joined this site a while after. I also purchased my first hunting rifle in September of last year; a beautiful Remington M700 SPS chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. I have been looking to take a course to better educate myself on how to use it, but have not really been able to find anything... This is the first time I have seen this forum and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might be able to go to find a long distance rifle shooting course to learn basic techniques of long distance shooting for hunting and target practice purposes, also how to spot correctly for someone else shooting and how to use a ballistic calculator.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Going to be tough to find a course like that but there are those of us who can give you private lessons. Problem with courses is you need a range to rent. Private lessons you can run without shutting down a whole range.

How would I go about finding someone, is this the best place for that? Or should I post some where else that I am looking for an instructor to teach spotting and usage of ballistics calculator?
