Hello,
I am building my first AR. It is meant to be more of a precision tack driver than a tactical CQB. I am putting a complete RRA upper with a ultra heavy 18" Stainless barrel and an aluminum free floating hand guard on top of a RRA lower and a harris bipod. These are the parts I have so far, I am looking to get a general idea of what the resale value of this would be. I'm not selling it but I would like to know what I could expect from it in new condition. The link below is the same upper I am using (18" version) ,

harris bipoded = $75
18" HB SS bbl Upper with FF Handguard, with charging handle, bolt/carrier = $1000
RRA Lower with A2 stock and Stock Trigger = $500

maybe add another $125-$150 if you have a RRA 2 stage Trigger, and if you have a different buttstock add cost.

Realistically though, $1400-$1500 is what the complete gun is worth for a slow sale, $1300 or under if you want to sell fast.... always remember your never goign to get new prices once it is out of the store.

edited to add, just saw a 24" version of this upper in the "EE" sell for $800 including ch/bolt/carrier

have you seen what people are putting complete rifles in the EE for?? just a regular step barreled ar complete rifle with 1000 rnds down range are going for 1500. what's up with that???

That my friend is the Canadian market!

I'd say your rig is worth $2300.00 (based on the current market of used AR15's). The price ain't gonna go down either, it's only gonna go up!
