Hi guys,

Please help me id these guns and their value

Grade 3 or 4 Browning Automatic Rifle? $$$$

Yeah, that looks like a high-grade Browning BAR, likely a .30-06...

Not that I would ever pay this price, but depending on what grade it is, unfired condition could be worth $3000-$6000. Fired and hunted, a lot less...You need better pics.

Very nice wood. The checkering appears to be very fine as well, from what I can see. You will not get fancy wood like that on a new gun for under $1,000, though used, you might.

If you're really wanting some detailed info on those you might want to try posting on 24 hr Campfire. I know there are some guys on that site that have dedicated their lives to collecting Brownings as well as Sako's.
That Browning has fancier scroll work then the Safari model and the wood is really nice, probably some high grade collector rifle...usually means its with alot of $$$

Cheers!!

Just go on Gunbroker, Auctionarms, & Gunsamerica and surf around and you'll soon get an idea of what things are selling for.

Some better photos would help, and what's the scenario by the way?

Wouldn't there be some info on the barrel giving manufacturer, caliber(data stamp), place of maunfacture? Or have I missed something?

when can u get to look at them. Take down all info u can find ie; make, model, caliber, barrel length, have they been shot, any marks or nicks on the gun,& condition of the blueing. If you were in Central Alberta I would look at them with you. You may have someone close that can help. PM me if I can help from here. AJ

Would be important to have more info on the BAR. Looks more silver than satin-grey to me - could be the North American Deer Rifle Issue. If it's a 30-06 and came with a walnut case, then upwards of $3K. Better pics of the engraving (including trigger guard) and stock checkering are needed.
