Every canadian should study the Winter war between the Finns and soviets for tactics that will work when the US decides they need are oil and water. I saw some nice pukkos for sale that were winter war era that would be a great companion piece. I think it was about 40$ with a nice sheath. I really like that Mosin, I have a soft spot for very practical fireams and knives and the Mosins are definitly practical. 7.62/54 could be the best milsurp round to own
(or 30-06),it is cheap and good and the only one that is still used by a military. It also has great history which makes it alot more fun to own than if it was just practical.
I would not alter it but I would want a good sling and a padded shoulder in a vest or jacket to make it more comfortable.
