As he said, the blade goes in the handle, the hoe/shovel goes in the head. Read the label, all I can make out is 1975, but it looks like it should be ledgible as to maker etc.

Switzerland is about as rocky as one can get, would have been about impossible to dig a fox hole with that rig.
