hello, i am just starting to reload some .410 for the first time. the problem is that when i move the carge bar over, the 296 winchester powder is falling in between the chage bar and the powder bottle. the powder is getting everywhere! what do i do to raise the charge bar up so that there is no gap between the charge bar and the bottle of powder

Should be a small thin brass washer/gromet between them.........MEC has them don't know about sporting goods stores in your area?Harold

yea thanks i just figured that out. it was missing but i have more then one mec so i just took it from the other one, question though, should the brass go against the charge bar or should the rubber, thanks

Two things. Replace the rubber grommet and get the brass washers that fit between the rubber and the bar.

Inset the brass washer with the depressions facing up so they press into the rubber grommet. Install the grommet on top of the washer. Then install the bottle. IIRC Winchester 296 is a fine powder and you still may get some spillage however the washer properly placed beneath the rubber grommet should reduce the problem.

BTW, MEC ships to Canada.
