Please ID this Russian Rifle

Hi folks, I just acquired a Russian TO3-16 single-shot .22lr rifle with Anschutz aperture sights from a fellow who had it in his basement for the past 30 years. Does anyone know anything about these rifles? The barrel is 21" and it has a sporting-style stock. I will post pics tomorrow.

Sounds like a TOZ rimfire model 16 I think...

I know some of those old TOZ rifles were Russian training rifles.

I had a model 17 and it shot just fine.
