I recently got a Ruger 77/22. The trigger pull is way to heavy for my likin

I would like to hear from anybody who has found a cure for this and be willing share their experience.

I tried the search function on this site with no luck.

I tried a Google search and found mention of aftermarket triggers/springs available in the US, that might be possible to install without the service of a gunsmith.

Does anybody know of a Canadian source for these aftermarket parts, or experience in installing them?

Any advice would be most welcome.

I got a timney trigger kit for mine & had a ‘gunsmith’ install it. About 10 years ago now.

Kit helped, ‘gunsmith’ didn’t do a great job and I had to do some final fitting at home.

I put the Mcarbo spring in my 77/22 and yes it did lighten up the pull. I also put in the bolt shims and that got rid of my constant misfires. Both purchased through Bullseye.
