Contacted ruger and you might be curious to know aluminium and steel cased ammo can be used. I have quite a bit of aluminum ammo so this will be a good choice for me.

Kel Tec sub2k’s had problems ... at least the first Gen ... I’m not sure about the second gen. Some rifles have issues with steel too.

steel cased ammo tends to be too hard on extractors. the metal quite often is not hard enough and will wear down faster. aluminum ammo is not recommended for straight blowback as the case can rupture while ejecting
and could cause damage. from what i know the ruger is slight delay on the blowback.
