The plastic front part angles are indeed annoying. But I mostly shoot prone or at the bench with a bipod so it is not a big deal for me. The have a replacement with a wider base that I would recommend. The tang area has also some unconfortable sharp edges, but it’s laminated wood, so very easy to smooth out to your hand.
Bottom line is this AT-One is not a MacMillan for sure, but it cost a lot less too. It is also one of the very few options for Axis’s unless you like chassis systems like the MDT. They are not plug and play either, some bedding and fitting works are needed, but once done properly, you end up with a pretty nice rifle that can shoot. It just needs to be looked at for what it is, an affordable laminate stock.
