PLease remove

A lot of guys have posted recently wanting to know the value of Winchester commemoratives. IMO they have no value, price is another matter. They were an attempt to create a collectible market where none existed. All of the people who purchased these rifles would have been far better off to buy high condition 1894, 1886 or 1873 originals at the time. As in the 60's,70's and 80's, these rifles could be picked up for very reasonable prices. Many of the commemoratives have not appreciated 100% in over 30 years. Original Winchesters, especially in high condition, have skyrocketed. I have seen many 94, 86 and 73 models in very good condition priced close to 10K and above.

I have a friend who buys, sells and collects vintage vinyl records.

He says that anything labelled "special edition" or "collector's edition" isn't.

Looking to sell collectors item - Gold plated Commemerative Winchester model 94 - in wood collectors case. Has not been used. What is it worth?
Littlefishhouse.

There were lots of different Win 94 "gold" colored commemoratives produced.

What specific model is it?

Is it a rifle or carbine? Style of buttstock? Full mag/half mag? Round barrel/octagonal barrel? etc.....

Does it have the original shipping box, sleeve, booklet/instructions, hanging tags with it?

NAA.

What ever the case they are NOT a real gun in my opinion. I saw a fella shooting one at a cowboy shoot and the gold(brass?) started to peel and flake at the ejection port. Never seen the bluing peel off in big flakes. Lol
If you can't shoot it its not a gun. If all it can do is hang on the wall with out slowly self destructing then is a sculpture. Never would own one.
