Can anyone tell me the leght of both of the handgaurd... Im thinking a dlask Dlask 12.5" Bull Barrel with the dlask comp thats 2 inches ... I want the barrel and then end of the muzzle break as flush as possible to the end of the forearms...

Thanks for the help...

The Nordic Components kit is a little different
than the stock that comes with a SR-22.
AFAIK Nordic doesn't have the barrel support block
and the filler between the pistol grip and trigger guard.
For SR-22 you can find rails relativelly cheap.
If you want to put a .920" barrel on a SR-22,
you can find the barrel support block for it.
The Nordic doesn't have provisions for a barrel support block.

A 12.5" barrel still protrudes out of the SR-22 handguard a little bit.
Your "flush" prefference is interesting, but be aware
that you will get tired of cleaning the handguard from
sh!t that comes out of the muzzle.

I just looked at DLask comp and all the holes are forward so hopefully less crap... https://www.dlaskarms.com//product_info.php?products_id=179&osCsid=d82ca90b16faa0442fb6c58cf471672e

Im thinking of a Dlask 8inch Barrel after looking at there website... https://www.dlaskarms.com//product_...d=242&osCsid=d82ca90b16faa0442fb6c58cf471672e

I also found another option, The dlask short quad rail https://www.dlaskarms.com//product_...d=173&osCsid=d82ca90b16faa0442fb6c58cf471672e

And if I just buy the N/C receiver and this quad rail it will be cheaper (328$) ... now that sound good to me... lol... Will send dlask n email asking if this will fit teh N/C receiver...

OAL has to be 28 inch right ? I will be 1 inch short... I will permetaly attach a recoil pad... and solder the muzzle break ... If that is allowed...

Or just get a fixed stock... Problem solved...

I will see what Dlask has to say about there forehand fitting the N/C and go from there.

Hmmm... I am not sure I understand what you mean.

But let's try again.
So you want to have a 10/22 in a Nordic
with a barrel flush with the front of the handguard. Right?

First of all, make sure that the above is mathematically possible,
meaning that with the shortest position of the stock,
there is at least 26" (clean) from the buttpad to the front
of the handguard.
You can ask Dlask, but they don't know Nordic handguards,
they know only the SR-22 handguard and
their own Dlask short Quad Rail for the SR-22.
And I am pretty sure the Dlask Quad Rail
will not make the 26" without a barrel.

Going back to your Nordic,
please find out the lenght of the handguard only.
And we will go from there.

As in soldering the muzzle device,
if it contributes or not to the OAL
only RCMP is able to give you an answer,
and since you are at it, ask for it in writing.
The bad news is that
the soldering or working with heat on a barrel
will depreciate accuracy (and not only).
In any case, it will void warranty, at least in Dlask's case.
Dlask could maybe pin it for you. We'll see.

So, find out the lenght of the handguard you want to use
and then I will tell you your options.

nordic takes ANY ar forend and stock configeration out there from yankee hill machine to dlask theu all fit, I have 3 of them here and I dont beleive a dlask reciever will fit in the nordic kit, diferent top and back to there recievers, as well a colapsable stock on a 12.5 dlask barrel is 26.5 inches closed on my shortest one, used a magpul M93 stock

Thanks for the info... So I think I will order the Dlask 12.5 barrel and a complete Nordic component set-up, since its the only way to have the top rail as 1 peice look... and the Dlask comp will be sticking out a bit...

Thanks for all the help guys... Will start this build once my AR build is complete

Well... After talking directly with Nordic components this is all a no go...

I will sell my 10/22 and buy a Ruger SR22 allready set up... will be cheaper and I will be able to get more parts for it...

Wow... This was not was I was expected...
