Hiya.
Was wondering on a good charge for loading and plinking with the Browning 1919

I'm using imr 4895 powder

Reason I'm asking is cuz I have lots of brass all mixed commercial and military
I know military is thicker and dint want to sort through it all.

Looking for a safe load that can be used all around.

I would start low and find the minimum powder charge that will cycle reliably with your mixed brass. Is yours a .308 or -06? A high degree of accuracy is probably not a big concern with such a rig...

Sorry I don't have any info on load data, I usually just buy lake city bulk for mine. As one MG owner to another though, have you had yours long enough to have any mechanical failures? Trying to grab some spare parts and have no idea where to start.
 
Numrich gun parts has MG parts but I'm sure a licensed importer would be needed.Perhaps IRGS would know?
 
A friend of mine had one, and it was utterly uncooperative. The problem was determined to be cheap steel case ammo. The conversions need good consistent 7.62x51 NATO spec ball ammo. Anything else, and you'll be chasing your tail.
