Does it have the German #1 Reticle? My son has this scope with the German #1 reticle on his Mauser 66 and he does not like it for that reason alone.

I can buy a Swarovski Z-3 3-10x42 for less than $1100 now, so I would expect to pay about the same for the new Zeiss. The two scopes are quite comparable, as I previously owned a German made 3x-9x 1" Diavari, at the same time as I owned my Swarovski AV 3-10x42 scopes.
